Most of the planet, Angeion, is covered with massive lakes, and plentiful rivers, with only one large landmass in the middle. Each major lake is accompanied by a major town, and each major lake is labeled a letter that spells out MAGIC, in tribute to the discovery of Angeion. There are some rogue mountain ranges scattered across the land of the planet.

Lake Greu (helped by Master Empress)
Lake Issac (helped by Master Empress)
Lake Cyr (helped, and name suggested by Jacob.)
Lake Mana, as the name suggests, is the purest lake of all Angeion. Its waters have exceptional healing abilities, which has inspired humanity to create one of the most beautiful, restorative towns on the planet. Its town nearby has been named Althaia, the greek word for healing. The town's practice of magic is Restoration.

Lake Astrida is one of the most spiritual lakes on Angeion. Nicknamed "Divine Beauty" by the townspeople that live beside it; to some, the clear waters of Astrida bring them closer to the Spiritual powers of the world. It is said that Lake Astrida helps calm troubled spirits and eases their passage into the netherworld. It is commonly believed that by living within the presence of the lake, it protects Mankind from evil spirits and souls.
The waters of Lake Astrida are as clear and reflective as a mirror, shining a silver glow under both the sun and moon. With its reflective surface, it is said that by peering into the waters you will see the true nature of your soul. Those who are truly evil will be unable to stand seeing themselves and so will be forever chased from the purity of the water. Those with good souls will see themselves as they are or will be warned of any darker qualities that lurk within. With this amazing ability, it is said that those that can bring themselves to bathe or drink from the waters will have their souls cleansed of evil.

Lake Greu, with its muddy, foul smelling waters, is the home and birthplace to Necromancy and evil souls. The water banks are littered with bones, decaying bodies, and twisted roots which drip poison from the tips of spiked branches. The town nearby, named Greu, is an outward example of the deep, twisted parts of the human soul. With the twisted reputations of the people that lurk inside the town, they remain close to the tainted waters that they call home.

Lake Issac glimmers a violent blood red, far from the other lakes, but relatively thrives close to Lake Greu. It's a large lake, inhabiting a very massive legendary dragon, whom was named Abaddon. The town is also named Abaddon, in tribute to the destructive, evil dragon living deep within the lake's whirling hot waters. Whirlpools are constantly viewed in some parts, and threatens the lives of anyone whom gets too close, as it can pull one in, and rip them apart.

Lake Cyr is a large, clear and clean lake that shimmers beautifully in the sun from afar. However, the closer one gets to the lake, the darker and more misted it becomes. One would normally think it's just changing of the atmosphere, but this lake has trickery of its own, and mysteries, still yet to be solved. It's illusionary properties make it heavily attuned with magics that resemble its own appearance.
It leads the unsuspecting into its deeper reaches, turning them around, cutting them off from all directions in the fog, like a maze. Many travelers and tourists have ventured into the lake and never returned. Some say it has portals to other realms, or that a beast comes to take those who stray too far into the lake. But the people of the town Cyr'talas know well the lake and its wonders, wise to its ways. Many people come to study the lake and learn its properties, practicing the magic of illusion amongst its waters.
The lake holds many mysteries, masses of land appearing in the center, and even those who are lucky enough to find their way out and attempt to return to that land, charted course or not, find themselves once again delving in to the great mists of the lake. They say two things are never seen twice, and no trail leads the same way more than once. The Cyr'tal, (citizens of Cyr'talas,) have learned to overcome the tricks of the lake, and have become great crafters in her art. They even offer services of guides to those who wish to learn more. But they have sworn never to reveal their secrets, and that only those who truly have come to learn their magic will find their way into the society of Illusion.
Legends hold that you can watch a ship sale for days out into the lake, and then suddenly, with the blink of an eye or the turn of a head, the ship that had been there but split seconds before is nothing but the shimmering waters of the lake surface.
