Species Name: Daranu
Pronounced As: Dahr-ann-you
Commonly Known As: Space Dragons
Lifespan: 3,000 to 5,000 years
Average Height:
Females: 7 - 8 feet
Males: 5 - 9 feet
Average Length:
Females: 15 - 17 feet
Males: 14 - 18 feet
Average Weight:
Females: 150 - 180 lbs.
Males: 190 - 230 lbs.
Appearance:
Shared: Daranu are like a space version of an Eastern dragon of legend, but possess a lot more fur, and only a smooth, thick layer of leather. They have multiple eyes, usually numbering at three or four on their thin, long skull. These dragons are born, and found in Nebula Rings.
They also have different colors of skin depending on which part of the Coornoes Nebula Rings they were born from. If they were born in the northern parts of the Coornoes Nebula, their bodies will have a dark blue base with small freckles of dark or light green, or vica versa; their hair would be a lighter hue of the nebula's color, and their eyes would be a gorgeous light colour of that part of a Nebula.
Males: Not much different from the females, except for the fact that they have a thicker jawline, shorter hair, thicker musckle structure, and have more eyes that are usually smaller in front of the normal set of eyes.
Females: As being the feminine part of their species, they are more agile and elegant than the males. Their hair is longer, usually connected along all the way down to their tail tip, and length at an amazing six or seven feet long.
Information:
They live within tribes. There are exactly five different types of tribes; the Northern tribe (The blue section of the Nebula.), the Southern tribe, (The green section of the Nebula.), the Eastern tribe (The red-orange section of the Nebula.), and the Western tribe (The yellow / light red section of the Nebula.)
Diet: Small prey, and large plants/fruits.
Offspring Quantity: Daranu females can have only one baby per season, however, there are times where the females produce triplets
Mating Ritual: Daranu only breed within other tribes of Daranu. They are long-term lovers; meaning that they are to stay with their mate for the majority of their lives until the day of death. Although, some Daranu do not find their desired mate and usually leaves them.
Abilities: They do not need to breathe to get oxygen, in fact, they gather oxygen enriched plants in their jaws to receive oxygen.
